Katy Perry’s Hair Is Staying Black Because She’s Mourning The End Of Her Prismatic World Tour
The yearlong tour wraps up this May.
Katy Perry might be known for her chameleon locks, but she’s not planning on dying her hair anytime soon. The singer is keeping it jet black as a symbol of mourning for the end of the Prismatic World Tour.
“It’s black [because] I’m in mourning because this tour is almost finished,” Perry told E! Onlineon Thursday (March 26). The yearlong tour in support of her album Prism began on May 7, 2014 and will conclude on May 14 in Bangkok. That’s still more than a month away, but it sounds like Katy is savoring every last minute before she takes a break from her extensive touring schedule this summer.
Perry’s new concert film “Katy Perry: Prismatic World Tour” premieres tonight on Epix at 8:00 p.m. If you missed her show this time around, don’t worry — she’ll be back on the road in September.
